Student Activity Fees
- Who will pay a Student Activity Fee?
Any K-12 student who participates in Pentucket Regional School District extracurricular activities, including athletics, will pay the fee.
- How is the fee determined?
Each fee is based upon the actual cost, e.g., personnel, equipment, supplies, of the activity.
- How will the fees be used?
The fees will be used to offset the costs of each extracurricular activity.
- When will the fees be due?
Fall athletics activities and year long activities are due August 15th. Winter and spring athletics and activities are due by November 15th.
- What happens if a student moves or quits an activity?
During the first week of the activity 100% will be returned. After the first week of the activity no fees will be returned.
- Will families who need assistance be accommodated?
Yes. Families that meet Federal income guidelines (for free and reduced lunch) will pay a reduced amount. Please contact the school office for details. Fees may be waived or deferred in extraordinary circumstances. Special payment plans may be arranged in cases of significant hardship.
- Is there a cap on the Student Activity Fees?
Student Activity Fees are capped at $800 per family.
