There is a 105% increase in heat expenses over the ’05 budget.  Why, and can maintenance initiatives be taken to arrest some of this, as is the case in other schools?

The Bagnall heating costs increase is market driven. As with other schools, the price of heating oil has doubled over FY ’04.  We will review the system to see if efficiency can be improved.

What is the $24K in the Assistant Principal’s salary line for FY 05?

Superintendent MacLean appointed a Bagnall teacher to function as acting assistant to the principal.  This amount is the difference between that teacher’s salary and the salary for the position.
