  • Tomorrow is Twin Day! You and a friend can dress the same and actually look like twins. Just remember you have to keep it in dress code appropriate.

  • The yearbook meeting scheduled for today has been moved to Thursday, March 4. Please meet in the computer lab Thursday after school.
  • The Percussion Ensemble "B" group, under the direction of Mr. Dumas, will meet today for only a half hour. Rehearsal will be from 2:30-3:00.
  • There will be a Student Council meeting in Room 610 after school today.
  • We are holding our first Operation Pentucket Cares Meeting in the Cafeteria this Tuesday after school. Late busses available or parents can pick up at 3:15. If you signed up to help with OPC as part of your Community Service, please try your best to attend the meeting Tuesday!

  • Sign-ups for the 2010 Babe Ruth Baseball season will be held this Thursday, March 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Groveland Town Hall. It is open to all residents of the Pentucket District between the ages of 13 - 18.

  • March Madness is a student/teacher basketball game. It will be held on Thursday, March 11, here at the Middle School gym with a free throw contest to be held first. Please stop by the Main Office to pick up a signup sheet. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $3.00.

  •  Pentucket High School Boys Basketball Youth Night is this Friday, Feb. 5, in the Pentucket High School Gym. Varsity game vs. Newburyport is at 6:30 and JV game vs. Newburyport is at 5:00. All boys playing youth basketball in Merrimac, Groveland, and West Newbury are invited. Free admission for all youth players (wear your youth basketball shirt and get in free) Meet the varsity players after the game and get an autograph signing!

  • Community Service will start to collect unwrapped toys for the Boys and Girls Club of Salisbury. Please help our neighbors this year. Starting Wed., Nov 18 to Dec 10., the Homeroom that collects the most toys wins a Pizza Party! Drop-off boxes are in  the main lobby.
  • Pentucket has talent! Show off your talents at the Talent Show on Jan. 15. Tryouts will be Dec. 15 and 17 from 2:30-5:00 in the auditorium. Please pick up an application in the Main Office. Any appropriate talents should try out.
  • Today is the last day to buy candy canes from Peer Leaders. You can send them to your friends and/or teachers, so don't miss out on this opportunity!

  • The Recycle Team is able to collect both paper and recyclable containers from our classrooms. Each classroom should have two separate boxes -- one for paper, and one for plastic and cans -- and we ask that you are careful not to mix the two. If your classroom needs an additional recycle bin or has any other question regarding recycling, please have your homeroom representative contact a member of the recycle team or Mr. Siegfried in Room 308.

Teachers, please forward your collection envelopes to the Main Office by 8 a.m. No one picked the cell phone hoody with the limo lunch ticket! We want a full limo, so we are going to have a second post card collection day next Wednesday, Sept. 23. Stay tuned early next week for details, and keep those orders coming in!!!

  • Four of our top magazine sales people will be enjoying their next visit to a SIMON mall courtesy of the magazine drive. Anna Moura-Cook brought home 5 lbs. of Hershey chocolate yesterday! Our next prize collection day is tomorrow, Friday, and the top sales people will be dining for free at Mandees Pizza across the street. Remember, bringing in just one magazine order gets you into the next 5 lb. Hershey bar raffle!

Homeroom teachers please forward all collected orders to the Main Office in the yellow QSP envelopes by 8 a.m. Winners of the SIMON cards and the 5 lb. Hershey bar will be announced this afternoon!!! Remember, our school receives 40% of every subscription, so let's work towards our goal of two orders from everyone!!!
