I
am available to provide care and assistance for any accidents,
illnesses or injuries that occur during the school day. Accidents
an/or injuries that occur at home and are not related to school
arrival or departure should be evaluated by your child's physician
or healthcare provider. In the event of illness or injury to your
child, where treatment other than first aid is required, I will try
to notify you by telephone. If I am unable to reach you, I
will call whomever you have designated on your child's EMERGENCY
CARD. Parents should make arrangements with a relative, friend or
neighbor in the event that you cannot be reached. This should
be noted in the space provided on the card. Depending on the
severity of the problem, your child's physician or the school doctor
may be called in your absence. Please be sure to update this
emergency information as changes occur.
WHEN YOUR CHILD IS SICK
 If your child is going to be absent
from school OR tardy to school, PLEASE call
the school nurse at 978-363-2957 as early as possible and
preferably before 9:00 a.m. We want to ensure your child arrives to
school safely. To that end, if we do not receive a call, you will be
called at home. If we are unable to reach you at home, we will then call
the work numbers and/or emergency numbers on your child's emergency card.
Please send in a note for the homeroom teacher when your
child returns to school after an absence.
