ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS:
Recently we became aware of a technical difficulty that resulted in grade discrepancies between the final report cards and Edline grades. We are in the process of working with technical support to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Parents and Families:

We have added a copy of the information letter and a sample itinerary for the Grade 8 Washington DC/Virginia trip to our website for your reference.  The same documents were sent home with students on Thursday, 5/28.  We strongly encourage students to discuss this type of extended trip and the associated expectations with parents and guardians now to allow time for planning and preparation.  There will be an overview meeting for the Grade 8 trip early next year for both students and parents.  Please note that the itinerary is there for your reference and may vary for next year’s trip.

PARENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are very pleased to announce that Ms. Elizabeth Delaney has been hired to teach English on the 8 Red team during Ms. Vercauteren’s leave of absence. Ms. Delaney has recently worked at the Amesbury Middle School and brings experience and enthusiasm to our school community. Welcome Ms. Delaney!

We are seeing an increasing trend of students arriving late to school.  We begin morning announcements promptly at 7:35AM and students arriving late are missing important school- wide information.  As a reminder, per our school policy, any student with two or more unexcused tardies in one school week will be issued a Friday, 2:30-6PM detention (PRMS student handbook p.16.)  Whenever possible, please encourage your student to ride the bus for transportation.  If you are dropping your student in the morning, please drop them in the designated area (beyond our front door) before 7:15AM when traffic begins to back-up in the driveway.  Thank you for your continued support of our school.

Massachusetts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and the Free and Reduced Breakfast and Lunch Programs, more info.

Please call the school if there have been any changes to home telephone or address information. It is important that the school have up-to-date contact information at all times.
