CHILD FIND NOTICE

All Public schools must provide special education for all children determined to be educationally disabled.  The law requires a school district to identify such children from age 3 to 21 years of age.  This law applies to all children including those in non-public schools, pre-schools, and hospital settings.

Parents or service providers who suspect a child might have an educationally disabling condition are encouraged to contact their child’s school.  The principal will provide information on the procedures for determining if a child is educationally disabled and in need of special education services.

For more detailed information about the policies, procedures, services, and building contacts established in the Pentucket Regional School District for special education, you may also contact the Special Education Administrator, Jack Tiano, at (978) 363 – 2280 x. 5.
