Dog Obedience

Dog Training with Linda Haley, KPA-CTP

Please come to class with a flat collar, 6ft leash and yummy treats. This class is held outdoors and may be subject to weather related cancellations.  Bring to first class: no dogs and proof of vaccinations records and rabies certificates.  7 week sessions.

LHP:424: Puppy Kindergarten (under 6 months old):

Did you just get a new puppy?  Unsure where to begin?  This class teaches a positive approach to training your puppy using positive reinforcement.  Methods for housebreaking and solutions for avoiding unwanted behaviors such as jumping, chewing, digging, and barking will be discussed.  Basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, down, come and loose leash walking will be introduced.  This is class is for puppies under 6 months old.  Please come to class with a flat collar, a 6 foot leash and some tasty puppy treats.

$110 ~ Tues, starting 4/24, 5-6pm

LHC424: Canine Manners for puppies and dogs 6 months and older

This class is for puppies and dogs 6 months and older who may or may not have had any previous training.  Positive reinforcement methods are used to teach your dog better manners   in a humane way.  There’s no yelling, jerking the leash, choke chains or pinch collars.  Marker words and/or clicker boxes will be used to communicate to your dog which behaviors are acceptable.  You will learn how to effectively teach your dog loose leash walking, sit, stay, down, come and how to retrain your dog to stop unwanted behaviors such as jumping, mouthing, or barking.  Please come to class with a flat collar or front clip harness, a 6 foot leash and some yummy dog treats.

$110 ~ Tues, starting 4/24, 6-7pm.
