Pentucket Regional School District Parent Alliance Inc.
501(c)(3), non-profit parent run organization established in 1994
The PPA is inspired by the nationwide "Project Graduation" initiative, which began in Maine during the 1970s. Following a series of alcohol-related tragedies during commencement season, communities created these events to provide a fun, safe alternative to traditional parties. The inspirational event resulted in the PPA to establish the annual event known as “Pentucket Senior Celebration”.
What is the Pentucket Senior Celebration?
The PPA hosts an annual, substance-free, all-night celebration for graduating seniors. This beloved tradition—typically attended by over 85% of the class—keeps our graduates safe while they celebrate together one last time.
Students are bussed to surprise venues throughout the night. Past highlights include:
- Harbor cruises and comedy shows
- Dances and restaurant stops
- Hypnotist shows, prizes, and keepsakes
Check and credit card payment accepted.
How is the Event Funded?
As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we rely entirely on:
- Community Donations: Generous support from local families and businesses.
- Fundraising: Year-round efforts to offset rising venue and transportation costs.
- Student Registration: A reasonable fee for attendees.

Our Commitment to Inclusion
We believe every senior should be able to attend. The PPA offers "event scholarships" to ensure financial constraints never prevent a student from participating in this milestone event.
