ABA COMMUNICATIONS POLICY

The Pentucket Regional School District is committed to openness in relationships with the public and encourages citizen and staff involvement in problem solving and decision-making at as early a stage as possible. Such involvement is encouraged actively through a wide variety of means.

To secure this commitment to open communications, the School Committee will pursue the following objectives:

  1. To develop and maintain an organizational environment where all staff members are aware that they share the responsibility for effective communication of school policies, programs, activities, and events to parents and other members of the community.

  2. To provide the means for furnishing full and accurate information, favorable or unfavorable, together with interpretation and explanation of school plans and programs to all publics.

  3. To establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the news media.

  4. To encourage the Superintendent to recommend any other practices which may contribute to this objective.
